  Description: Stem slender, terete, twining to right. Leaves simple, 3-6 x 2-4.5 cm, ovate, acuminate at apex, cordate to truncate at base, 5-7 ribbed. Male spikes simple, axillary, 3-6 cm long, 1-4 from a node; rachis slender. Tepals 6. Stamens 6. Female spike simple, 6-12 cm long, drooping , lax. Ovary 0.5-0.6 cm long.
