Description:
Large woody parasitic shrubs; branches transversally rugose, glabrous. Leaves to 7-10 x 3.5 cm, obovate, obtuse, coriaceous, narrowed to the base; petiole to 7 mm long. Flowers 3-6 together in axillary cymes; peduncle 7 mm long, slender; bracts small, ovate; pedicel 3 mm long, puberulus; calyx obscurely toothed; corolla 15-20 mm long, yellow, cleft to below the middle, lobes recurved. Berry 7 x 4 mm, obovoid.
