Description:
Climbing shrubs. Leaves alternate; leaflets very small, many, 1.2-2 x 0.6 cm, linear-oblong, obtuse. Flowers small, white, usually numerous in axillary panicles with corymbose branches; bracts small, subpersistent; bracteoles 2, usually small and deciduous. Calyx campanulate; teeth short, distinct, the lowest usually longest. Petals exserted; all petals with a slender claw, keel petals hastate. Stamens 10, monadelphous; anthers minute, the cells back to back, dehiscing apically. Ovary stalked; ovules few. Style slender, short, beardless; stigma small, capitate. Standard refract. Wings hastate or sagittate at base. Pod samaroid, narrowly ligulate, long-stipitate; seeds 1 or 2, reniform, compressed.
