Description:
Erect, fulvous-pubescent stiff shrubs; stems and branches tetragonous. Leaves simple, alternate, 8-14 x 1.0-2.5 cm, lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate or linear-oblong, rounded at base, acute and apiculate at apex, silky hairy on both surfaces, subsessile, membranous; lateral veins numerous, distinct; stipules minute, caducous. Racemes terminal and lateral, elongated, 15-30 cm long. Flowers 12-20, pedicels short, fulvous; bracts small, subulate, hairy. Calyx 6-8 mm long, clothed with fulvous silky glistering hairs, tube very short, lobes long, triangular, acute, the 2 upper lobes divaricate, slightly broader and a little more deeply divided than the 3 lower lobes. Petals yellow, as long as calyx; vexillum suborbicular, glabrous. Pods sessile, oblong, 1.5-2.0 cm long, densely fulvous-silky; seeds 4-6.
