Description:
Intricately branched shrub from a woody bole; branchlets rigid, downy. Leaves elliptic-ovate, 10 x 0.4 cm, coriaceous, base acute, margin recurved, apex acute, apiculate, glabrescent above, densely white, downy-tomentose below; petiole 2 mm. Inflorescence 2-6-flowered; bracts linear, 2 mm. Sepals 5, triangular, 2 mm, pubescent outside. Petals 5, pink, orbicular, 2 mm wide. Stamens c. 20; filaments subequal. Ovary inferior, 2-celled; ovules 2, basal; styles 2, slender, 1.2 mm. Drupe globose, 8 mm wide; seeds 4, ovoid, 4 mm.
