  Description: Twining fleshy herbs; branchlets wiry. Leaves opposite, 3-5 x 0.5-1 cm, linear-lanceolate to elliptic-obovate, chartaceous, base acute, apex acutely apiculate; petiole 0.5-1 cm. Peduncle to 1.5 cm; bracts linear, 3mm; pedicel to 0.5 cm. Calyx-lobes 5, linear-lanceolate, 4 mm, acuminate. Corolla dark purple; tube 2 cm; lobes 0.5 cm, glabrous, shortly beaked. Pollinia obovoid-circular, 0.3 mm; caudicle minute; receptacle 0.1 mm. Outer corona cupular, membranous, 0.7 mm; inner corona 5, linear-spathulate, 2 mm, connivent.
