Description:
Erect much branched shrubs, slightly puberulus; spines very small on either sides of. the petiole. Leaves to 18 x 7 cm, elliptic, acute at either ends, coriaceous, glabrous, lateral nerves 8-10 pairs; petiole 0.5 cm, stout. Flowers solitary or 2-3 together; petals white, 15 mm long, obovate, obtuse. Berry 4 x 2 cm, ellipsoid, rind hard; pedicel 7 mm in fruit; gynandrophore 0.8-1 cm long, thick.
