Description:
Herbs, 50-90 cm high; stems glandular hairy. Leaves 15-17 x 8-9 cm, ovate, acute at apex, decurrent at base, pubescent along the nerves below; petiole 5-7 cm long. Heads many, 5 x 7-8 mm, bracts 4 mm long, obovate, obtuse, glabrous. Flowers white, many; corolla 2 mm long, hairy along the lobes. Achenes 5 x 1 mm, curved, 3-angled, dark brown; pappus of 3 gland-tipped bristles.
