Description:
Glabrous vines, tendrils simple, coiled. Leaves to 12 x 10 cm, ovate or deeply 3-5-lobed, terminal lobe 12 x 10 cm, lanceolate, acute, base cordate, membranous, gland at the base of lamina; petiole to 3 cm. Flowers monoecious or polygamo-dioecious, white; calyx tube 3 mm, campanulate, lobes 1 mm; corolla lobes attached to the calyx lobes, 1 mm, oblong; ovary 2 mm, globose, style trifid, stigma papillose, ovules many. Capsule 3 valved, 4 cm across; seeds pitted.
