  Description: Pubescent herbs or subshrubs. Lower leaves ovate-cordate, to 15 cm long; upper ovate to lanceolate, crenate-dentate, velutinous below and glabrescent above, basally 5-9 nerved. Flowers 3.5-4.5 cm across. Petals yellow, obovate. Mericarps 5, puberulous.
